AS-Interface V 3.0

With the new specification 3.0 (September 2004) of AS-Interface it was made possible to retain the advantages of AS-Interface and to include new features that were requested by the marked:

improved parameterisation of field devices, more detailed diagnosis, simplified analog data transmission. Additionally a new cable was defined for used in IP20 environments.


	The new features in short:

full compatibility to the previous version 2.11
more I/O per slave - now up to 1000 inputs and outputs per network possible
simplified analog data transfer:
- new fast communication protocols
- parallel binary and digital communication for combi field devices
improved diagnosis and parameterisation:
- update of parameter blocks online
- field devices with detailed diagnosis capabilities
- FDT for AS-Interface
